Why Shipping Times for Our Personalized Sunglasses Cases Are a Bit Longer Right Now
We always want to keep our customers in the loop—especially when it comes to anything that might affect your order. You may have noticed that shipping times for our personalized sunglasses cases are currently a bit longer than usual. Here’s why that’s happening and what we’re doing about it.
It starts with tariffs.
Recent increases in tariffs on imported goods have affected many small businesses like ours. These tariffs raise the cost of getting materials and products into the country, particularly when using faster (but more expensive) air shipping.
To keep prices fair, our distributor switched to sea shipping.
In response to the rising costs, our distributor made the decision to switch from air freight to sea freight. While sea transit is much more affordable, it also takes longer—often a few extra weeks—because shipments travel by ocean and go through additional customs processing at ports.
We know waiting longer isn’t ideal.
We completely understand that no one likes to wait, and we’re truly sorry for the delay. We made this decision carefully to avoid raising our prices and to keep offering our customers the best value possible.
